ARRIVAL

After 22 hours of flights and layovers, we finally arrived in Berlin around 7 pm. Then went past through customs, which was actually a breeze. I really thought it would be similar to the picture in my previous post. We rode the bus through the city to arrive at our apartments. We are located in a very convenient place, almost in the heart of the city. The apartments are next door to the Holocaust Museum and a block south of the Brandenburg Gate (picture above). It was around 8 pm when we arrived at our apartments but it was still completly daylight outside. Come to find out that, Germany has 19 hours of daylight. This is going to mess with my head. Well off to sleep, then we'll start our first full day in the morning.
