FIRST WEEKEND

SO, OUR FIRST 3 DAYS OF CLASS ARE OVER AND NOW ITS THE WEEKEND. I REALLY DIDN'T DO TO MUCH BECAUSE I DIDN'T PLAN A OUT OF TOWN TRIP EARLY ENOUGH. WELL ANYWAY, I MADE THE MOST OF IT. CADE AND I WENT AROUND THE CITY JUST LOOKING FOR ANYTHING TO DO. THIS IS WHAT WE FOUND.
CADE, HELPING A WOMAN WITH HER KNIFE JUGGLING ACT AND HIS PRIZE IS....
ON SUNDAY, WE MET BACK UP WITH MR. C-WELL AND WENT WENT TO A COUPLE OF BUILDINGS AND AN ARCHITECTURE EXHIBIT. OF THE FEW BUILDINGS WE VIEWED TODAY, THE RUNNER UP OF THE 2000 OLYMPIC GAMES SITE WAS MY FAVORITE.

VELODROME DESIGNED BY D.PERRAULT

THE VELODROME IS A VERY LARGE BUILDING BUT ITS DESIGN FROM THE OUTSIDE WOULD SEEM TO SAY THE OPPOSITE. THE DROME CANT BE SEE FROM STREET LEVEL. THE ROOF IS AT THE SAME LEVEL OF THE GROUND SURFACE, THEREFORE WHEN LOOKING FROM THE STREET, THE SITE JUST LOOKS LIKE A CONTINUOUS GRASS FIELD.
THE TRUSS ROOF STRUCTURE WAS AMAZING.
